Mary Martin, CPM, DEM
As the mother of several children, including 5 birthed at home, Mary experienced a variety of care through her own pregnancies and births. She gained a great appreciation for woman-centered care and deep respect for the capacities of a woman's mind and body.
She began her apprenticeship work in 2015 and has worked with several different midwives in a variety of settings. This training helped her acquire helpful skills and perspectives that Mary brings to her service as a midwife. She strives to empower women to develop confidence and faith as they approach motherhood, whether it be the first time, or the tenth.
She maintains certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and CPR and is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) since 2025. She also has training through Breech Without Borders and experience with home breech birth.
She lives in Eagle Mountain with her husband and children, a small flock of chickens, a couple of tabby cats, parakeets, and a rotating assortment of lizards, hamsters, bunnies, and other small critters that make their way into the yard. Besides midwifery, she enjoys gardening, music, homeschool, and family life, and loves the growth that comes with new challenges and projects.
